American- Nigerian rapper, Wale has slammed those criticizing him for spraying dollars on his daughter, Oluwakemi, at her first birthday party last month. After the rapper shared a video of him on Instagram showering his baby girl with cash at her birthday party on July 23rd, people likened it to "making it rain" at a strip club and criticized him for the gesture.  Responding to the criticizing, the MMG rapper said: "That's just a little bit of that ignorance you get in this country [the US] sometimes, for other cultures. I'm used to it," he told US entertainment site TMZ.

A married lady from South Africa has sparked a heated debate after she declared in a trending video that side chicks are important and should be recognized, not marginalized. A Nigerian lady identified as Ogochukwu Mary has received recognition on social media for her artwork after she shared photos of her work. The lady who has made paintings of several celebrities shared some of her artwork on her page. Some of the artwork she shared on her Facebook page seem to be done with pencils of different shades. She made drawings of celebrities like American singer Rihanna, Nigerian singer Flavour N’abania, Comedienne Emmanuella and many more.
